Friday's show continued the buildup for the premium live event while also advancing some blue brand-specific storylines.

Another ominous superstar making his presence felt is Aleister Black. The Dutch striker returned to WWE last week after previously being released in 2021. Black knocked out The Miz with a Black Mass kick, setting the stage for a one-on-one match this week.

Chelsea Green lost the WWE Women's United States Championship to Zelina Vega in a shocker last week. Green isn't shy in arguing with "SmackDown" general manager Nick Aldis, and she may be vouching for a title rematch after her reign as the inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion came to an end.
