U.S. Circuit Judge Patricia Millett repeatedly pressed the Trump administration about the lack of due process protections for alleged members of a Venezuelan gang.

The Trump administration pressed a federal appeals court on Monday to lift a judge’s temporary block against President Donald Trump’s use of a sweeping wartime authority to quickly deport alleged members of a Venezuelan gang.

An appellate judge told prosecutors Monday that “Nazis got better treatment under the Alien Enemy Act” than the Venezuelan nationals the Trump administration recently removed from the U.S. to a prison in El Salvador.
