Darren Criss took home the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical last night for his starring role in Broadway hit Maybe Happy Ending, making him the first ever Asian American actor to do so.

During his acceptance speech for his first Tony Award for his role in “Maybe Happy Ending,” Criss thanked those who have made the musical possible, which includes his co-stars, the director and the producers, but most importantly his wife, Mia Swier.
