Impact weather will affect South Florida today in the form of late-day storms. Widespread downpours are in the mix from this afternoon and well into the evening. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure could form into something tropical over the next seven days.

Tuesday morning, a few showers moved across parts of South Florida. Throughout the day scattered storms will be possible as the wind shifts out of the south. Afternoon highs will climb to 90 degrees and but it will feel like the mid to upper 90s when the humidity is factored in.

Tuesday’s forecast is typical of a summer day, with afternoon showers and storms and highs in the lower 90s. A few showers are possible late tomorrow morning, with scattered storms quickly increasing during the afternoon.

On Tuesday, July 1, multiple bills that were approved by the Florida legislature and signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis during the 2025 legislative session will become law.
