Congress worker Himani Narwal was strangled to death with a mobile charger wire in Haryana’s Rohtak, with the accused staying overnight at her house before the murder.

Following a huge uproar over the brutal murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal, the Haryana Police on Sunday set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT), that succeeded in solving the case.

Sachin, a "friend" of Congress worker Himani Narwal, was arrested earlier today for allegedly strangling her with a mobile charger cord after an argument at her home in Rohtak, before placing her body in the suitcase.

The Haryana Congress leader Himani Narwal’s murder case has taken a dramatic turn with the arrest of the main accused, identified as Sachin. The accused, who hails from a village near Bahadurgarh, surrendered at the Nagloi police station late at night.

The police have also found Himani Narwal's mobile and jewellery in the accused's possession.

Sachin alias Dhillu, arrested for the murder of Himani Narwal, strangled her following an argument and concealed her body in a suitcase. He stole valuables from her house and abandoned the suitcase in bushes near Sampla after using public transport to transport it.
