Compton’s Market: Open 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday. Costco: Closed Monday. Food 4 Less: Open 5 a.m. Monday to midnight Tuesday. Foods Co.: Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday.

Chicago will kick off its Memorial Day celebrations with a wreath-laying in Daley Plaza Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by the annual Memorial Day Parade down State Street at 12 p.m.
