Myanmar's chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Myanmar on a goodwill trip.

The two sides reached deals to cooperate on nuclear and space technology, among many others, and the junta boss backed Russia’s war in Ukraine.
