Despite the 48 new movies coming to Netflix in July 2025, there are three exciting film series I can't wait to stream, and they're all iconic movies in their respective genres starting with a martial arts drama from the '80s and ending with a landmark Hollywood thriller from the '70s.

Check out Netflix originals like "Happy Gilmore 2" and "The Old Guard 2," as well as classics like "White Chicks" and "The Notebook."

Mission: Impossible isn't the only franchise dropping on Netflix in July. You can also catch the original 1984 version of The Karate Kid and the film's two sequels when they drop on July 1.
