CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was shot Tuesday afternoon in Chicago's South Loop, Chicago police said. The 20- to 25-year-old woman was involved in a verbal altercation with a female suspect she did not know outside a business in the 500-block of West Roosevelt Road about 1:25 p.m., police said.
A suspect was in custody after firing a shot at Chicago police while fleeing officers during a car chase Monday afternoon on the North Side.
