Prince William opened up on the Apple Fitness+ podcast ‘Time to Walk’ about what happens behind closed doors at the royal family’s annual Christmas morning church service at St. Mary Magdalene on the grounds of the Sandringham estate.

Just call her the Queen of Kindness, because 9-year-old Princess Charlotte isn’t letting royal tradition get in the way of connecting with well-meaning fans this holiday season! The young royal broke protocol on a Christmas Day walkabout at Sandringham with her parents Prince William and Kate Middleton,

As she continues her return to public life, Kate Middleton joked “I seem to have lost my family!” after she fell behind Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on the royal family’s traditional Christmas Day walkabout.

While with other members of the royal family for their annual Christmas Day walkabout with well-wishers at Sandringham, Princess Charlotte stopped to take a selfie with a member of the crowd on Dec. 25.
