Despite it being unthinkable just months ago, Man City could very well be out of the Champions League come next week

Manchester City once again coughed up a Champions League lead, losing 4-2 from 2-0 up against a rampant Paris Saint-Germain.

Pep Guardiola offered no excuses after his Manchester City side’s dramatic capitulation at Paris St Germain on Wednesday. City surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 4-2 at the Parc des Princes and are now in danger of crashing out of the Champions League at the first hurdle.

This was the night when, tossed by the waves, 2-0 down to Manchester City and staring at the threat of elimination from the Champions League, a young, new-look PSG team stood firm, dug deep, won big and quite possibly came of age.

However, Ousmane Dembele pulled one back and Bradley Barcola brought PSG level by the hour mark, before Joao Neves headed the French champions in front and Goncalo Ramos wrapped up the win at the death after a long VAR check.
