Actor Saif Ali Khan sustained a serious injury to his spine while trying to protect his family from the intruder.

Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, known for his role in Netflix’s Sacred Games, among others, was stabbed in a scuffle with an intruder at his home early Thursday and underwent surgery at a hospital, media reports said.

The police said Mr. Khan was recovering in the hospital after an intruder attacked him. He sustained a major injury to his spinal cord, a doctor said.
