The Ottawa Senators are trading center Josh Norris and defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker to the Buffalo Sabres for forward Dylan Cozens, defenseman Dennis Gilbert and Buffalo’s second-round pick in 2026.

It's a disappointing end in Buffalo for Cozens. He signed a seven-year contract extension in February 2023 amid a breakout season in which he finished with 68 points in 81 games at 22 years old.

Dylan Cozens and Dennis Gilbert were traded to the Ottawa Senators by the Buffalo Sabres on Friday for Josh Norris and Jacob Bernard-Docker. Ottawa also received a second-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
