Several flights between Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Reagan National Airport have been canceled or delayed following a deadly collision between an American Airlines jet and an Army helicopter on Wednesday.
The American Airlines’ subsidiary has ties that go back decades in Ohio, and just said it was moving its headquarters to Charlotte.
"We are devastated by the accident involving a team member at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family," AA said.
