Orlando looks to end its four-game skid when the Orlando Magic take on Portland. The teams play Thursday for the first time this season.

Anthony was a late addition to the injury report, along with Jonathan Isaac (illness). That's typically not a great sign in terms of availability, and the Magic are already thin in their backcourt without Jalen Suggs (back). If Anthony can't go, the Magic could need Anthony Black to step into a much larger role.

Suggs (back) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Raptors, Mason Williams of SI.com reports. Suggs has been out of action since Jan. 3 due to a back strain, and it's unclear what his timetable is for a return. Cole Anthony and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are likely to remain in the Magic 's starting five due to Suggs' injury.

Prior to the injury, Suggs had been making a case for his first All-Star team this season, having taken on much of the offensive burden in the wake of monthslong oblique injuries

Suggs (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports. The Magic will be without Suggs for a sixth straight game as the rising star deals with a back strain.

Suggs doesn't appear to have a clear timetable for his return to action after suffering the back injury on Jan. 3.
