The Green Bay Packers were aggressive in free agency last year to address their biggest needs. They could take a similar approach this offseason after their early exit from the playoffs.

Colby Colwell of Yardbarker believes the Packers could add a legendary pass-rusher in 2025 to make up for their shortcomings. Colwell recently listed Green Bay as a top-three landing spot for Los Angeles Chargers star Khalil Mack in free agency.

The top soon-to-be free agent for the Chargers this offseason is edge defender Khalil Mack. While Mack will be Los Angeles’ No. 1 priority to bring back, there is the possibility he decides to hang up the cleats or play for another team. Should he sign with another team, Pro Football Focus says the Packers should bring him to Green Bay.

According to ESPN, the Green Bay Packers are hiring DeMarcus Covington to be their defensive line coach. Last season was Covington’s first as the Patriots defensive coordinator.
