Here are status updates for Philadelphia 76ers forwards Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.

For the first time since Tyrese Maxey saved their season with a series of shots etched into franchise lore, the Sixers returned to Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night to face the New York Knicks team that eliminated them from last season's playoffs.

The Sixers brought Oubre back on a deal in free agency and will lean on him to be in the starting lineup next to the star trio of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey. He is a terrific role player who coach Nick Nurse can rely on to give a scorer's mentality and make a difference in certain matchups.
