Coming out of the holiday break, the New Jersey Devils have stumbled out of the gate. After their loss in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, the Devils’ three-game winning streak has quickly transitioned into a three-game losing streak.

Nemec has extremely high potential and is considered a significant part of the Devils' future. Thus, it is a good sign that he is starting to thrive in the AHL. If he keeps this kind of play up, he could get another shot on the NHL roster before the season ends.

With half of the 2024-25 season completed, the New Jersey Devils must seek and maintain momentum. They need to find the same level of on-ice chemistry they had at the start of December.
