A Town of Union bridge will be renovated in 2026, and the Broome County Department of Public Works is looking for resident feedback regarding a proposed rehabilitation project.
When it comes to a completion date, the town supervisor says he has been told it’s slated for later this year. “I know they were initially planning on moving in in October,” said Grubham.
According to Vestal Town Supervisor Maria Sexton, the PILOT would cost the town and Broome County over $10 million dollars of lost tax revenue through its 20-year timespan.
