The Cleveland Browns added four quarterbacks this offseason. There were two additions made prior to the 2025 NFL Draft, where Cleveland added two more. The hope is that the Browns found their next franchise quarterback but that is unknown as of now.
The final 53-man roster for the Browns is expected to be finalized by August 26th at 4 p.m. With the start of training camp quickly approaching, here’s an early prediction of the Browns’ 2025 regular season roster: Pierre Strong Jr.
And to Moton's point, the Browns have two first-round picks in 2026 — their own plus the Jaguars' pick, both of which could be in the top 10 (Cleveland went 3-14 in 2024 and Jacksonville went 4-13) — and the 2026 QB class is loaded.
A QB like Pickett, who has a winning record in the NFL ( 15-10) and is entering the final year of his $14 million rookie contract probably gives Cleveland a better shot early on than rookies Dillon Gabriel (third round) or Shedeur Sanders (fifth round).
Cleveland brought in Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco as veteran options this offseason. This came before adding both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft. As of now, there are no signs of a starter being named with all four in the mix.
