The Marion County Health Department has identified a suspected rabies case in a feral (stray) cat at the Marion County Lake.

The Marion County Rural Water District 1 serves the two communities and says it is working to fix the dirty water issues.

Two people were killed in two unrelated crashes in Marion County on Saturday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the first crash happened just after midnight.
