Two years removed from its national championship season, LSU baseball is recognized as one of the top teams in the country. Perfect Game ranked the Tigers at No. 2 in its preseason top 25 poll. It follows No.

LSU is No. 2 in the 2025 Perfect Game Baseball Preseason Poll released on Monday. Texas A&M is No. 1 in the poll, followed by LSU, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida State, Texas, Clemson, Duke and Oregon State to round out the Top 10.

Vanderbilt has been ranked in the top 10 of the preseason Perfect Game poll in five of the last six seasons. The Commodores were ranked No. 11 in 2023. They were last ranked as low as 15th in the 2018 preseason Perfect Game poll, in which they were not ranked at all.
