Little Rock police have identified the man wanted in connection with a deadly October shooting at Ottenheimer Park.

James Austin, 26, was arrested after a Monday morning shooting that left a woman in critical condition, the Little Rock Police Department said.

According to the Little Rock Police Department dispatch log, a shooting call came in just before 7:30 a.m. in the 900 block of South University Avenue near Interstate 630. After arriving on the scene, officers said they found a woman who had been shot.

Little Rock police are investigating a shooting that injured one at the Four Points by Sheraton on South University Avenue.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police in North Little Rock have identified the victim killed in a last week shooting. Officials with the North Little Rock Police Department said 18-year-old Torrio Baker Jr. was killed in the Friday afternoon shooting on Moss Street.
