The Local 5 Weather team has called for a Weather Impact Alert Day Friday due to threat of severe storms and flash flooding.

Because of the heavy rain, flooding, and severe weather potential, your Friday is still a First Alert Weather Day. Besides all the weather that will impact your Friday, daytime highs will be cooler out as they top off into the low 80s. Winds will be light from the east, and south winds will arrive by the afternoon.
