A hiker reported seeing a lone man who looked ill-prepared for the wilderness. A helicopter crew then saw a man in the Enchantments area. He “ran from sight.”

"We're going to keep the pressure on," the Chelan County Sheriff told USA TODAY June 12 as he prepared to board a helicopter to help in the search.
