Hawaii's Kilauea volcano has officially erupted for the 41st time since 2024, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
Lava fountains shot almost 1,600 feet in the air, pelting the Kilauea summit and surrounding communities with chunks of volcanic rock.
