Alabama ended the season last week with a disappointing loss to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

The Crimson Tide's starter was Elijah Pritchett for the majority of 2024, a position battle he won and held onto from Week 3 against Wisconsin until the Mercer game. In Alabama's 28-14 win against Auburn Nov. 30, Pritchett and Wilkin Formby basically split each series, something that continued into the bowl game.

Tuesday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida brought the conclusion of the 2024 season for the Alabama Crimson Tide with a matchup against the Michigan Wolverines in the ReliaQuest Bowl.

Alabama, the first team left out of the College Football Playoff, was favored by more than two touchdowns but was stymied on offense.

Alabama had three turnovers in four plays at one point in the first quarter, in which Michigan gained possession inside the Crimson Tide 's 30-yard line each time. Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe threw an interception and fumbled twice in the first quarter, which ultimately was the difference on Tuesday.

After committing three very early turnovers in the ReliaQuest Bowl, the Crimson Tide offense never got going despite the defense's stout effort.
