Colorado right-hander Antonio Senzatela went three-plus innings against Arizona on Monday night, flashing solid form at times but also showing some rust in his first start in 16 months following his recovery from Tommy John surgery.

On Monday night vs. Arizona, Senzatela will make his first big-league start since May 10, 2023, when he left during his second start of that season after facing just 12 batters. The Rockies weren’t certain that Senzatela would pitch with the big-league club this season because he didn’t undergo Tommy John surgery until mid-July of last year.
