An Atlanta bus driver can expect to come in contact with rowdy passengers who are irritated after a long day of work and may pick an argument. However, one particular driver ended up in a horrifying situation over bus fare that came to a fatal result.

Family members of the victim are raising money and rallying for support against violence impacting public service workers nationwide.

Leroy Ramos was working his bus route for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) when an argument ensued between him and a group of three juveniles at Decatur Station.

Leroy Ramos was "the type of man that would show up for anyone and everyone, even if he didn’t know them," his family wrote on a GoFundMe page
