Novak Djokovic faces Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of the Australian Open on Friday with the Serb's bid for a record 25th Grand Slam title picking up steam at just the right time.

It seems as if there’s always something going on with Novak Djokovic at Grand Slam tournaments. Even he says so.

But Gauff was upset in the Australian Open quarterfinals by No. 11 Paula Badosa of Spain. On the men’s side, Italian Jannik Sinner is the defending champion and No. 1 seed. Sinner is playing while awaiting a Court of Arbitration for Sport verdict of a World Anti-Doping Agency appeal of his doping case.

Entering this year’s Australian Open, the biggest storyline on the Men’s side would be whether or not Novak Djokovic could extend his record to 11 Australian Open titles and also win his record-breaking 25th Grand Slam.
