Rams star Davante Adams to be a guest on MNF ManningCast during Chiefs-Commanders
Rams receiver Davante Adams will be on the ManningCast with Peyton and Eli Manning tonight during the Chiefs-Commanders game.
Late in Monday night’s game between the Chiefs and Commanders, commentary about quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ treatment by officials took center stage. The Chiefs already had a 28-7 lead when officials threw a flag for roughing the passer after Mahomes was tackled to the ground.
Breakdown: When the 2024 season started, Cooper didn't look like he had very much left in the tank during six games with the Browns, but the Bills made a trade for him anyway. In eight games with the Bills, Cooper caught just 20 passes for 297 yards and two touchdowns.
Nacua sustained his injury in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. He returned to the game after initially being diagnosed with a foot injury. But he was ruled out for Los Angeles' subsequent game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7 with a sprained ankle.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Konata Mumpfield scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday and after the game, Davante Adams named Mumpfield as his heir apparent, diving into their relationship and why he believes Mumpfield will eventually succeed him as the Rams' top outside threat.
With Nacua out with an ankle injury, Matthew Stafford will rely on Adams and Atwell to help fill the void in the passing game.
Adams is currently listed on this week's injury report (questionable, hamstring). Adams has 13 catches for 213 yards and two TDs this year. He has been targeted 29 times.
"Davante Adams has 25 career games with at least two touchdown receptions and joined Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice (44 games), Randy Moss (36), Terrell Owens (32), Cris Carter (29) and Marvin Harrison (29) as the only players with at least 25 such games in the Super Bowl era," stated the Rams PR team in a tweet.
