The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has selected two locations for new roundabouts on U.S. 24 in northeast Kansas.
Two roundabouts are going in on Tuttle Creek Boulevard north of town, with a stretch of the road set to shut down for most of the year starting in April.
KDOT did not have an expected time to be off the road, and said they might still be clearing roadways through Friday night.
According to the Kansas Department of Transportation ( KDOT ), the U.S. 24 and K-13 junction (east project) project is underway. In the coming weeks, construction at the K-113 junction will begin.
