Russell Westbrook got his revenge, along with a technical foul that he knew he was getting. In the Denver Nuggets' Game 7 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, as his squad was blowing out the Clips in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs, Westbrook took a fast break to the rim and hung on it for what seemed like forever.

The veteran guard had a solid two-season career with the Clippers, but was jettisoned last offseason as part of a trade to the Utah Jazz that landed defensive specialist Kris Dunn. At 35 years old, Westbrook was waived by Utah and proceeded to join the Nuggets in free agency.
