Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) is planning to start on Sunday versus the Bears, barring something unforeseen with his AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.
Flacco has been out of practice all week because of a sprained AC joint, though he sounded optimistic Friday, and NFL Network reported Saturday he intends to start. If Flacco is unable to start or has to exit the game, the Bengals would go to backup Jake Browning and have Sean Clifford behind him.
