One thing writers and multinational consumer electronics corporations have in common is we both need a good editor. Or, failing that, at least a good spell-checker. OnePlus somehow missed that step when launching the OnePlus Watch 3,

The OnePlus Watch 3 is a well-designed and full-featured smartwatch, and it's a great choice for anyone who doesn't mind its size.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ahem, excuse me. The OnePlus Watch 3 was supposed to launch today, but 9to5 Google reports that it’ll now arrive “sometime in April” over an unfixable “Meda in China” typo on its backplate.

OnePlus says there will be two colors for the new watch: Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium. The casing of the watch, like last time, is crafted from stainless steel but the bezel on each watch will now be made from titanium. Emerald will have a silver titanium bezel while on the Obsidian it’s black.

Out of all OnePlus’ smartwatch sins, this one is the easiest to forgive. When I received my OnePlus Watch 3 review unit, part of me wondered, “What’s gonna be wrong with this one?” Now, I know. On the backplate, permanently engraved in stainless steel, is a typo. Instead of reading “Made in China,” it reads “Meda in China.”
