The delay ended up lasting less than two hours indicating the final round could be completed as scheduled.

Serving as U.S. Open host for the 10th time, Oakmont has shown its teeth to the field as only four players entered Round 4 with under-par scores. That number is down to one with the first nine having been completed Sunday.
