Police found 31-year-old Jordan Spalding in the driver's seat of a vehicle stopped near a Phoenix canal and 74-year-old Samuel Webster injured nearby.

A Phoenix rideshare passenger allegedly ran over her driver multiple times with his vehicle after an altercation on Tuesday.

After a preliminary investigation, police say Webster is a rideshare driver and Spalding was his passenger and during the ride, the two got into an argument. Witnesses told investigators that the car stopped near a canal and both people got out. Spalding later got into the driver's seat and ran Webster over multiple times, police said.
