A woman has been injured by a dog after intervening to protect her own dog from an attack. Northamptonshire Police said the incident happened near the children's play area in Hunsbury Park Hill, Northampton.

One teenager was arrested after St. Louis police responded to a large fight at a party overnight with nearly 300 teenagers. The victim was transported to the hospital with a broken knee, a broken foot, a significant injury to her eye socket, and a very serious injury to her skull.

Wrentham police said they are seeking help after finding an abandoned dog on Thursday. Police said the dog was left at Joe's Rock Conservation on Route 121 late overnight, or early morning. According to officers, he had an empty plastic bowl with him. Police said he appeared to be emaciated.
