A man who shot and killed another drive in a South Phoenix road rage incident was sentenced to life in prison on Friday, officials announced.

Steven Bevan, 29, was buried on Saturday after being killed in a road rage shooting in Tempe on July 1. His family expressed their grief and struggle with the lack of charges against Dustin Jackson.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, 39-year-old Steven Orona was sentenced for first-degree murder and drive-by shooting in the death of Larry Milligan.
