Syrian security forces have arrested three men linked to the 2013 Tadamon massacre, when government forces executed hundreds of blindfolded detainees, shooting them into a trench before setting their bodies on fire.

Damascus Security Chief Lt. Col. Abdul Rahman Al-Dabbagh announced on Monday the arrest of a key figure involved in the 2013 massacre in the Tadamon district of Damascus, along with two other individuals who participated in the killings.

Security forces in Syria said Monday that they arrested three people involved in the execution of hundreds of civilians by government forces in Damascus in 2013, two years after the country's 13-year civil war began.
