One person is recovering from injuries after being shot outside a Wawa gas station during a road rage encounter, the Tampa Police Department said.

An airman stationed over at MacDill Air Force Base was the hit-and-run victim killed by a suspect who was later fatally shot by Tampa police after a pursuit on I-275.

It happened Sunday night, following what police said involved a crime spree committed by the man driving the white Honda seen in the video.
