In its heyday in the mid-20th century, the steel mill in Weirton, W.Va., employed 13,000 people and offered workers a relatively stable blue-collar life. In 2003, Weirton Steel filed for bankruptcy.

The battery has a capacity of 3.24kWh which can power the motorcycle for about 100-150km with a total charging time of 4.5 hours. The electric motor can put out 4.02bhp and 170Nm of peak torque.
