Transformers: Reactivate was originally teased at The Game Awards 2022, only to never be heard from again. Yesterday, Splash Damage announced the sci-fi multiplayer shooter had been canceled, potentially resulting in cuts to the studio after Hasbro pulled out of the project.

Announced at The Game Awards in 2022, a new entry from a major IP has kicked off the list of canceled games in 2025. The game in question is none other than Splash Damage‘s Transformers: Reactivate, which was revealed with a pretty flashy trailer just two years ago.

Transformers: Reactivate gameplay seems to have leaked following the announcement that the project was canceled yesterday. Footage of what appears to be the early-in-development Transformers third-person action game found its way to X/Twitter just hours after developer Splash Damage revealed it had made the decision to “end development” for the project.

Splash Damage announced that it was halting development on Transformers: Reactivate. Now that the project has been cancelled, gameplay leaks from a 2020 build have started resurfacing. To make matters worse,
