Jamal Murray silenced his critics with a sensational 43-point performance as the Denver Nuggets overpowered the Clippers to take control of the NBA first-round series.

Jamal Murray contributed a lot to his team on Thursday night, scoring 21 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for his Denver Nuggets. But that wasn’t enough to score a win for the team, and now their series against the Los Angeles Clippers is tied at 3-3 with Game 7 set for this weekend.

The Clippers won Game 2 at Ball Arena 105-102, and twice in the Nikola Jokic era the Nuggets have succumbed in a Game 7 at home, against Portland in 2019 and against Minnesota last year when Denver blew a 20-point second-half lead.
