Along with the new name, Metro by T-Mobile will come with new service plans. First, Metro's existing $40 plan will double the amount of high-speed data allowed per month to 10 GB.

T-Mobile said Monday it's rebranding MetroPCs as Metro by T-Mobile and will launch a new campaign to highlight the prepaid brand next month with two new unlimited plans.
