Amarillo singer, WT student Nelson Mckinney to help revive KWTS’s Live Lounge Series
On Thursday, West Texas A&M University announced that one of its students, Amarillo country singer Nelson McKinney, will help revive a concert series.
The class allows students to study and perform Tejano music in a live ensemble setting. Lares, a San Antonio native, has recorded 25 Tejano albums.
The four-day music festival takes places from March12-15 at Hemisfair Park.
