Gov. Matthew Gachupin Jr., New Mexico Rep. Anita Gonzales (D-Las Vegas) and U.S. Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández (D-N.M.) said they would keep fighting to ban further mining in the Upper Pecos watershed.
