An appeal that landed at the Supreme Court Tuesday could test the justices’ emerging concern about President Donald Trump’s aggressive deportation policies and whether he is willing to defy judicial orders.

The U.S. Supreme Court has acted in a series of cases involving challenges to executive orders signed by President Donald Trump and actions by his administration since he returned to office in January.

Today, Trump asked the Supreme Court to intervene in deportations to third countries. Plus, the high court orders another look at whether a police officer who partially blinded a teenager during the George Floyd protests can be sued.
