Trump threatens Canada with 10% extra import tax for not pulling down anti-tariffs ad sooner
President Donald Trump says he plans to hike tariffs on imports of Canadian goods by an extra 10% because of an anti-tariff television ad aired by the province of Ontario.
Trump's announcement came after the Canadian province began running a TV ad that features a speech by Ronald Reagan.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he will pause the ad on Monday "so that trade talks can resume."
