A Detroit man accused in a fatal shooting last weekend has been charged, officials said. Damon Bentley was arraigned Tuesday in the 36th District Court in Detroit on multiple felony charges, the Michigan Attorney General's Office said.

A man arrested on a preliminary murder charge over the weekend told multiple witnesses he shot Sapanna Harris-Williams, according to investigators. Court documents show that Harris-Williams had previously told police the shooter was violent.
